T4 to T3 Conversion

Paul is an active advocate for thyroid patients through his regular blog posts, which offer a wealth of information that both relate to his books as well as current news and insights.

This tag will be used for topics associated with the conversion from T4 (thyroxine) to T3 (triiodothyronine), in the body.

Some thyroid patients are good converters of T4 to T3. Some are not good and these thyroid patients often require different forms of thyroid medication other than Levothyroxine (Synthroid). They often need natural desiccated thyroid or medications containing some T3 (Liothyronine).
