Clinical Thyroidology: Beyond the 1970s’ TSH-T4 Paradigm – Dr Henry Lindner

This 24th June 2025 article by Dr Henry Linder is something that he has been working on for some time. Dr Lindner runs a medical practice in the USA which focuses on hormone replacement therapy. He also helped me greatly by reviewing my The Thyroid Patient’s Manual book, along with other doctors and endocrinologists.

Dr Lindner describes this document as a ‘thesis’. It is an excellent, comprehensive review of what the current paradigm of thyroid diagnosis and treatment is, and why it is failing so many thyroid patients. Importantly, it also provides an equally comprehensive description of what the paradigm should actually be. I agree wholeheartedly with Dr Lindner in everything he has written. Including the references it is 27 pages long, so please set aside some time to read it – it is worth reading.
