I was Put On T3 (Liothyronine) Treatment Due to T4 to T3 Conversion Problems

I was originally on Levothyroxine (T4) and I had many symptoms. The NHS in the UK had told me I had ME (or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

But I found a private doctor who combined the T4 with Armour Thyroid. This working successfully for around 5 years.

However, I began to lapse back to sitting on the sofa all day, and sleeping a lot in the day.

I had developed a heart problem at this point. The cardiologist  I saw, and my family doctor assumed my tiredness was due to the heart problem.

However after asking my GP for the blood test results arranged by the Cardiologist, I was shocked to find that my T3 was down to 1, and after the amount of thyroxin and Armour I was taking, it should have showed at the top of the range which is 6.

Therefore, I again visited my SAVIOUR private doctor who prescribed T3 as my body was no longer converting.

The T3 treatment has been a success!
