Thyroid Treatment:
Circadian T3 Method, Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT)

I Am Using the Circadian T3 Method (CT3M) and I Can’t Stress How Much It Has Changed My Health and Well-Being – It Helps Many Thyroid Patients Who Have Lingering Hypothyroidism Symptoms

I had a total thyroidectomy due to papillary carcinoma in 2004, and I had suffered for years with problems due to low adrenal function. My main problems were fatigue, an inability to focus well at work and school and a high level of irritability over very small matters. To any doctors reading this: I stress this was different from the normal level of stress that people have from work and school. Most people don’t feel like they should faint if they have to multitask or focus for a period of 30 minutes, or yell at their friends over *every* small detail in their lives.

Not surprisingly, my doctors never mentioned or tested my adrenals. For the year before I tried the CT3M method, I had found some relief with trying T4/T3 meds, and then naturally desiccated thyroid (NDT), but I still had problems with fatigue and anger issues, finally to the point where I couldn’t work a full-time job.

I remember when I first heard about the method, I tried taking part of the NDT 4 hours before I woke up to see if it would work. I was surprised at how clear my thinking was (and I actually felt awake)!! I also hadn’t felt that calm in m entire life.

That was too fast to do the method, so I pushed it back to 1 and ½ hours before I woke up and over the course of a couple of months moved it to four hours before I woke up. I don’t take a lot of supplements, except the occasional vitamin C, B12 and magnesium. I also take a glass of saltwater in the morning sometimes, but that circadian dose of T3 (in the NDT) is what has helped the most.

I’ve been through a double bachelors and masters in history, and I wish I had learned about this method beforehand, so I could have had the focus I do now.

I highly recommend the CT3M to anyone who has had lingering thyroid problems and have exhausted their options trying to help themselves.

I would like to add that I recently found out that psychologists who are testing people for autism and emotional disorders use the 24 hour saliva cortisol test to first see if there are any problems with low cortisol before making a diagnosis.

I would like to see more endocrinologists do this and recognise the CT3M method to make more thyroid patients function in their daily lives.

I stress that thyroid patients’ problems are very real. It’s not possible for thousands of us to all have the exact same symptoms, especially when these symptoms don’t occur in other people without thyroid problems.

As long as it’s monitored, this method is very safe, and should be recognised for its amazing benefits for thyroid patients.
